LUX Shop: Neiman Marcus Spring & Summer 2016 Trend Report

February 12th, 2016 - Tuesday night Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills hosted its customers to a private runway reception moderated by the hit TV-series Jane the Virgin Costume Designer Rachel Kunin and PR Director Ye-Hui Lu. Style Editor Steve Galindo takes us front row with the latest trends to hit the runway this season. 

Kunin, explained during the reception that she takes a focal point in this scenario a color and combines bold prints, embroidery and dazzling eye popping accessories to finish the looks for this season. 

In style, pop art on everything from bomber jackets (Alexander McQueen) to accessories (Fendi.)  Platforms are a must-have for Spring/ Summer 2016 providing comfort over a stiletto heel and an eclectic feel to any outfit. 

For evening, Kunin moved away from the traditional fur-stole and recommended trying a blazer on top of a ball gown skirt (Oscar de La Renta) for a fresh luxurious look. The top is fringed tweed (Chanel.) In conclusion, be bold and don't be afraid to mix and match. Matching is the key to achieving a concise stylish look.
