LUX Shop: Dear Danger Mobile Boutique
Take a clapped out, almost fit-for-scrap van. Scrub the insides well. Add some shelves, good lighting, hardwood floors and a brightly coloured exterior. Now you have the makings of the ultimate fashion truck. And the gal behind the wheel who reps Dear Danger Mobile Boutique is a bombastic recipe that consists of: style, crazy eye candy, an eccentric fashion sense and a whole lot of fun to boot! You can't miss her sun-kissed blonde locks and adorable smile waving you in to shop and bop around.
Dear Danger is Fresno's first mobile fashion boutique. A unique novelty shop delivering hand picked clothing & accessories to gals throughout California. The 16-foot-by-7-foot store space in the back of the truck holds long dresses with a bohemian print, $30 lacy coral skirts, lots of white tops and rings with rough cut and unpolished rubies and emeralds ranging from $54 to $65. Nothing on the truck is over $80. Score!
Meet the brains behind the truck, driver and fashionista: Lindsay Howard AKA Lindsay Danger. The Danger in the name is Howard’s nickname and Lindsay Danger is her alter ego.
In a nut shell, she believes in perpetual forward motion. Her curiosity for the world in which she lives has been her driving force. Lindsay was born in Kenai, AK and spent her twenties as a gypsy, traveling from Reno to Seattle finally landing in San Diego. During this time Lindsay signed a contract with the modeling agency No Ties Management and secured a job working as the VIP Host at Voyeur one of the top ranked nightclubs in the United States.
Working both as a model and a VIP Host, Lindsay cultivated her individual style. She then attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco, earning a degree in Merchandise Marketing in 2013.
