We have a lot to celebrate! The past few months have been a whirlwind of excitement and changes. We are coming off our spring release featuring Lisa Vanderpump, and the support from the community has been overwhelming! We were sold out at many of our local newsstands before April even began, making the spring 2015 edition our top seller to date. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to every person who picked up a copy.
In March Lisa Vanderpump held a fabulous event at PUMP for the magazine release in West Hollywood. Over 150 people came out to show their support for the publication and it was incredible to see so many of our advertisers and readers who attended the celebration in true luxurious fashion, many of them driving several hours to be there.
We are pleased to present our Summer edition of CVLUX! We were so fortunate to work with Monica Potter for this issue’s cover. You’ll likely recognize her from the hit NBC show, Parenthood, but in our revealing interview, we talk intimately with the real woman behind the screen. You’ll meet the down-to-earth entrepreneur and mom, who has recently created her own line of must-have fragrances, candles, lotions and potions that are a true feast for the senses. Monica’s beauty, both inside and outside, is reflected both in the elegant poolside photos taken at Jeff Vespas’s gorgeous home, which he graciously opened for our shoot, as well as in her refreshingly open interview. We think you’ll be just as charmed by Monica Potter as we are.
We made keeping it hot this summer a little easier with some help from our resident bathing beauty, Candice. The Sofitel welcomed us to their opulent pool in Beverly Hills, where we shot this luscious swimwear story. Our friends at Dior, Gucci and Prada opened up their showrooms for our team, who master- fully executed this stunning editorial piece. It was a pleasure to work with photographer and friend, Matthew Mitchell, again. Let us inspire you with the latest in swimwear fashion this season, making weekend sunbathing, pool parties, and beach play even hotter.
