LUX Huntington Beach Spotlight: BB Jazz Festival
WHAT: BB Jazz brings the best of R&B, contemporary and smooth jazz to Huntington Beach through its quarterly concerts and Christmas Celebration at the Huntington Central Library Theater and at the annual BB Jazz Festival in Huntington Central Park. For over 10 years, the two-day BB Jazz Festival has taken over the lawns of Central Park in September with guest artists such as Johnny Gill, Keith Sweat, Mint Condition, and Kindred the Family Soul.
The Huntington Beach Concert Band brings diversity to its Sunday Concerts in the Park series each summer. Music styles, and guest performers, vary each week from Americana to big band to Latin jazz to traditional Dixieland jazz. Bring your picnic basket and lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of live entertainment.
