The Dig is New York quartet: David Baldwin, Emile Mosseri, Erick Eiser and Mark Demiglio. Their sound has been evolving since the band’s two singers Emile Mosseri + Dave Baldwin started making music together when they were eleven years old. And they’ve been building some serious buzz with their first two full-lengths when it comes to 80's shoegaze inspired rock. It is an absolute must to check out Midnight Flowers dropped in 2012 and Tired Hearts from 2013.

And now the band is premiering a new short film for their songs Cold Afternoon and So Alone off their new EP, You & I. Check out this magical + experimental film via Nowness directed by Terence Nance / produced by Chanelle Elaine / Photographed by Shawn Peters. It blends the two tracks from The Dig and was inspired by Nance's film debut of An Oversimplification of Her Beauty (which recently won a prime spot at Sundance). A film where The Dig contributed to the soundtrack.
