I purchased Madeleine’s Bridal Boutique in 2004 based on the belief that small business is the root of our community. I want local brides to stay local. I am passionate about love, family, and feminism. And we do our very best to help every bride feel exactly the way they want on their wedding day. Generations of Central Valley brides have bought their dress at Madeleine’s Bridal Boutique (it first opened in 1954 in the Tower District) and we are pleased to allow the future generations the same tradition.

Success is the ability to fulfill dreams. I started my career with Madeleine’s in 1990, and then I transitioned to event planning. Whether it’s a bride’s dream of how they want to look on their special day, or the ability to meet my own dream of owning my own business. We do our very best for our brides. I’ve had a lot of community, family, and support from my parents to become the successful person I am today. Without my bridal mentors, I don’t think I would be where I am today.
My Community Involvement
We’ve been involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for many years. We dress the Women and Men of the Year candidates for the event. In fact, this year, I was honored to be nominated as Woman of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We’re looking forward to raising a lot of money for them in the coming year.
Advice for Women
Be yourself. Be sincere. Honesty is the best policy. Knowledge is power for women. I feel that the more knowledge you have in your career the more successful you are.
My greatest achievement
I have two strong, intelligent, hard-working daughters. Their dedication to their careers and strong work ethics, which I hope to have instilled in them, makes me the proud momma I am today. I am so proud to call them my daughters.
