Welcome to winter, or as I like to call it, the harkening of spring. January always makes me feel so grateful for all we have achieved. Over the past few years CVLUX has grown and continued to evolve into something I could have never dreamed. Its journey has taken me across this great state of ours. I have met so many wonderful people along the way who have left an indelible mark on my life.
One reason I love January is because of our annual Luxury Awards. This year the awards will be held on January 20th. Over the past few months our readers have nominated and voted on the best of the best in the Valley and it’s time to celebrate! This year a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Saint Agnes Holy Cross Center for Women. For 30 years, Saint Agnes Holy Cross Center for Women (HCCW) in downtown Fresno has served as a refuge for homeless and underserved women and their children. Operated by Saint Agnes Medical Center, the center provides daytime shelter, counseling and referral services, education and skills training, clothing, laundry and shower facilities, and social activities. In addition, the center offers six, seven-week long summer programs held for children and young people ages 4-17.
