Benefiting Good Dirt Collective
Buena Tierra, a fundraiser for Good Dirt Collective, took place at Birdstone Winery in Madera on Friday, May 1st. Some 320 guests raised $127,000 for Good Dirt Collective, which works with young women who have aged out of foster care. Good Dirt aims to empower young women who have been impacted by foster care to find hope and joy through pottery, grace-based employment, and caring mentorship. The community’s generosity was evident from the stories shared by these ladies. A special presentation revealed how the Mud Girls healing-centered pottery program at Good Dirt Collective has made a huge difference in the trajectory of their lives.
