Sang Pediatrics has cared for Central Valley families since 1985, when Dr. Orathai Sangrujiveth opened her doors in Downtown Fresno. Today, the practice serves families at three locations across Fresno and Clovis, with roughly 43,000 visits a year. Led by Dr. New Sang, a pediatrician, author, and Fox 26 “Kids Health Watch” contributor, Sang Pediatrics blends decades of trust with modern, family-centered care.

OUR HISTORY
My mother, Dr. Orathai Sangrujiveth, started the practice in 1985. Since 2012, I have grown her legacy into three locations, serving Central Valley families and helping multiple generations.

Success is being there for my patients through their toughest times, the scary diagnosis, and the late-night worry. This earns the trust that families rely on when it matters most.
MY HAPPIEST PROFESSIONAL MOMENT
After giving my father his COVID vaccine, he said, “I’m proud of you.” In that moment, my work as a physician, son, public health advocate, and community doctor all came together.
HOW I EASE PATIENT FEARS
Parents often arrive anxious or overwhelmed. I meet them with calm, clarity, and empathy. When parents feel heard and reassured, children feel safer, too. That connection is part of the healing process.

Same-day and walk-in visits are readily available at Sang Pediatrics. We also accept all insurances, so families never get turned away or feel forced to change from a provider who knows them.
