The United Health Centers Foundation hosted Under the Stars, their tenth annual spring gala, on Saturday, May 31st at Holland Park West in Fresno. Presented by Legacy Construction, the event raised just over $320,000 to expand breast cancer screening across the Central Valley through United Health Centers. Guests of the sold-out event, capped at 400, were greeted with a flute of bubbles, a chandelier-lit skylight, and an elevated red carpet welcome sprinkled with sophisticated tropical elements. After a gourmet dinner and meaningful program, patrons set a new auction record thanks to the surprise highlight of the night: the combined $25,000 sale of custom painted canvas art generously created and donated by local favorites Kayla Martin (Blackbird Design Studio) and Dominque James. The stage was hosted by Emily Erwin of KSEE24, with special remarks by United Health Centers leadership.
