John West Drops New Weekly Tracks

John West and I met several years back when I interviewed him for a TV music segment. To me, his music has always been inspiring and honest. A new season brings change. And often times change is good. I think the best part of change is when you learn to ground yourself in the midst of it. It's a time of reflection. A time to dig back into your roots for new perspective. Change is inevitable. And when I hear John West’s swaying new track, Smalltime, this is what I think about. The track was co-written by Mike Wise and is aged with an undeniable soulful sound. The opening beat is both hypnotic and mellow. And as soon as John’s silvery vocals kick in, your ears are hooked. It's a stripped-down promise between lovers wanting to choose each other in lieu of the spotlight, West expresses.
